THE CHURCH NEEDS AMBASSADORS OF JESUS among the immigrant groups that God is bringing near us. Upper Darby, next to West Philadelphia, is one of the most ethnically diverse communities in the U.S. People from over 70 nations live, work and play here.
The Upper Darby Ministry (UDM) is a local mission work of City Line Church. With a special focus on least-reached and next-generation immigrants, its mission is to welcome and serve Upper Darby’s immigrant communities, reach groups of people with the good news of Jesus, and equip them as multiplying disciples in Biblical fellowships (or churches).
The UDM is led by Scott and Karen Bryant, who raise their own support and work under the oversight of City Line Church.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED: All churches and believers in Christ are welcomed to explore partnership and/or join in this mission.
Soccer club: One way the UDM serves is by assisting with Multicultural United Soccer Club, which draws together local youth from over 20 nationality groups for positive recreation and character-building. There are many ways to serve in this growing club including coaching, helping with hospitality events, visiting families, building friendships, and sharing Jesus through your involvement.
Infrastructure support: Involvement in the UDM can also happen by being part of its crucial infrastructure of prayer partners and financial partners. To give financially, please make checks out to “City Line Church”; designate “Upper Darby Ministry” in the memo line; and send to City Line Church, 320 S CEDAR LN, UPPER DARBY, PA 19082.
