Children & Youth Ministries

City Line’s children’s ministry is for kids up through 5th grade.  Our youth ministry is for middle and high schoolers.

SUNDAY CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

We offer three classes: the Upper Elementary class is for 3rd to 5th graders, the Lower Elementary class is for Kindergarteners to 2nd graders, and the Preschool class is for anyone pre-kindergarten or younger.

For drop-off, children will be dismissed partway through the service, prior to the sermon. Parents and guardians should drop off their children at their respective classrooms, and then pick them up at the end of service.

This happens every Sunday of the month for our Preschool and Lower Elementary Class. But for our Upper Elementary Class, this happens only on the 1st and 2nd Sundays of the month; for the remaining Sundays, the Upper Elementary Class has a 30-minute time of activities and sermon discussion after the service.

Information about our COVID-related precautions for children can be found here.

SUNDAY YOUTH MINISTRY

Our Youth Ministry takes place at St. John’s Church after the Sunday worship service.  All middle and high schoolers are welcome to join this 30-minute time of fellowship and discussing the sermon.  Please read more about our COVID-related precautions here.

YOUTH MINISTRY MONTHLY ACTIVITIES

Each month, our Youth Ministry hosts a longer meeting for middle schoolers and high schoolers. Some of these meetings will be for fun outings, while others will be for an extended time of fellowship and Bible study. For more information, please contact Meredith Dyson.

CHILDREN AND YOUTH DEVOTIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

With the help of many City Line members, we have compiled a list of recommended devotional materials for use with children and youth at home.
